I’ve heard that they made a full-size model of the titanic for this film. It’s a very spectacular film. It is also a moving love-story. I advise all my friends to see titanic. the film was awarded 11 Oscars and I’m sure it deserves every one of them.

Last summer I visited my godmother. Once she came from the work and suggested to go to the entertainment park next day and I, of course, agreed. It was my first journey in such place. My godmother’s friend and her daughter went with us. Her daughter’s name was Dasha, we made friends at once. When we got out the bus, we heard load merry music and lively laugh. At every step music became louder and louder. At last, we came in. I occur like in a fairy land, there were different attractions: merry-go-rounds, trains, trampolines, etc. shops with sweets and toys, hand-gun ranges, horses and ponies, around there were only happy faces and bright colours. At first we bought candyfloss and ice-cream, and then we went to jump on trampoline. I never laughed so much, we jumped and fell, stood up and fell again. After I and Dasha played air hockey, the first round Dasha won, I won the second – winners all around. The biggest attraction was observation wheel, it was seen from any corner of the park, it called us. Dasha and my godmother were afraid of height but I persuaded them to go there and to watch the town from the height. We didn’t cut any slack that we came there, the fear of height stood away as soon as a wonderful panorama opened before us. We felt like birds sailing in the sky; houses, trees and streets seemed tiny figures of the dollhouse. We were overfilled with emotions; the wheel slowly went below returning us to reality. It was unforgettable day.

They eagerly give them pocket money to solve this contradiction. The question is whether this method is useful and how considerable are children when spending this money. Some people think that teenagers have become more serious and sensible in this respect, while others think that they cannot deal with money and spend it wisely. Most people think that children buy only useless things. However, it depends on each individual child. There are some youngsters, who buy flowers for their mothers and sisters. Others buy stationery for school or food when they are starving. Notable disadvantage of pocket money is that some children can spend it on cigarettes or other health-threatening habits. That’s when parents should be alarmed. To avoid such situations, they should know exactly what their children are spending money on. Besides, giving too much money to children isn’t a good idea. They can get spoiled by easy and luxurious life. It’s better to let them earn their pocket money doing minor but useful acts. For example, some juniors deliver newspapers in their free time and earn some money. Others help with gardening or work at a carwash. This way they are involved in physical activity, which is always useful. Besides, they earn decent money and they don’t have enough time for developing bad habits. Summarizing the above-mentioned viewpoints, I’d like to say that parents should give their children only limited amount of pocket money for their daily necessities, such as buying snacks and food, pens and pencils, little toys or presents for friends.

I study in a secondary school at the 7th grade. We have a friendly and united class. There are 26 pupils in our class and I am in good relations with almost all of them. I can say that I’m quite a sociable person and I have lots of friends both among my classmates and within my neighborhood. My class is rather important for me because I spend the majority of my time at school. We don’t only have lessons together, but we also attend additional school activities. Some of our pupils go in for sport trainings, some attend arts and crafts classes and some participate in school theatre. Surprisingly, there are a lot of talented and interesting pupils in our class. Personally I take part in school theatre. We often rehearse new plays and when the school celebrates something we present these plays on stage. The principle of our school appreciates it and he says that we have a good group of actors. My best friend’s name is Lena. She is my classmate and we share the same desk at the lessons. Lena attends arts and crafts classes. She is quite good at it and they sometimes organize school exhibitions. In my opinion, this positive atmosphere in our class is the result of our class teacher’s hard work. She is a great teacher and she often gathers us together for different occasions, which unite us as a class. For example, last week we had a small tea party after lessons, to celebrate a birthday of one of our classmates. Sometimes we even meet up in the city at weekends simply to chat or to have a walk.
