Ще вчора землю вкривав сніг, а в повітрі відчувався мороз, аж ось сьогодні несподівано повіяло теплом. Сніг став крихким і почав швидко танути, пропитуючи землю живильною вологою. По дорогах і тротуарах весело побігли струмочки, цілі річки та озера талої води, несучі із собою минулорічне листя, гілки, мілке каміння та сміття. Прийшла весна.
Небо раптом стало високим і просторим. Хмари розійшлися, і в синій височині засяяло весняне сонце. Дерева та кущі стоять голі та чорні від вологи. Скоро на них з’являться бруньки. А поки голі гілки обсіли веселі птахи, що теж помітили прихід тепла і радісно йому салютують. Скоро до них приєднаються ті, що повернуться з теплих країв.
Рання весна – досить незатишний сезон. Хоч сонечко вже пригріває, та пориви вітру досі холодні та пронизуючі. Під ногами калюжі та тала земля, з-під снігу зринає бруд та сміття, часто йде дощ. Проте люди вже не кутаються в найтепліший одяг і виглядають більш радісними, ніж зимою.
Крізь сніг пробилися проліски. Деякі з них білі-білі, а інші яскраво-сині. А потім там, де сніг розтанув, починає зеленіти рання травичка. Вона яскрава та соковита, бо ввібрала в себе всю живильну силу води та сонця. І ось на бузку та смородині першими з усіх набухають бруньки і починають швидко розкриватися. Вони ніби підтверджують, що тепер весна в повній мірі вступає в свої права.
