My dad says that English is widely spoken. English is very useful language, because 80 percent of the relationships between computer and human in the English language. They say that our home is our castle and I can’t but agree with it. My castle is a three room apartment in the suburb of the city. My favourite room in this castle is a kitchen. And not surprisingly — for me our kitchen is not only the place, where my mother cooks or where we eat, but it is the main meeting point for all our family. When our relatives or close friends come to visit us, we love to sit in the kitchen and discuss different things with a cup of hot aroma tea. As well as in many other families, our kitchen is the most creative and the noisiest room in the flat, and it is always full of people.
There are many interesting, cute and even unusual things in our kitchen, so it is difficult to describe it in two words. First of all, it must be mentioned that our kitchen is quite big, light and ample, but very cozy. In the center of my favourite room, there is a round vintage wooden table. One can always find my books or magazines, my mother’s porcelain vase with fresh flowers and my sister’s drawing pad on the table. Opposite the door, one can see a large window with lovely light-blue curtains. on the windowsill there are pots with beautiful plants – growing plants is my mother’s hobby. On the right, there is a modern kitchen cabinet. It is the place where my mom cookssour favourite dishes. All our kitchen appliances such as oven, dishwasher and microwave oven are integrated into the kitchen cabinetry. It is very convenient and space consuming. On the shelves, we have got not only plates and cups, pans and pots, dressings and spices, but also a lot of books with different recipes, photos, postcards and souvenirs.
On the left, there is a side-by-side refrigerator. As my mother is on a diet, our fridge is full of fruit and vegetables. On the fridge, there are a lot of colourful magnets from all over the world, family photos, my sister’s drawings, funny postcards. I think our fridge can tell the story of our lives to our guests: here is a lovely photo of my younger sister, wedding and birthday invitations for the nearest weekends, and here is a magnet from Paris and a New Year postcard from our granny. Our entire world is there for everyone to see. Opposite our kitchen cabinet, there is a wall with a big old-fashioned clock on it. My parents have received it as a present when they gave a house-warming party twenty years ago.
I love my kitchen because it is the place, where I meet my parents and my sister early in the morning, where we spend special occasions, where in the middle of the night we discuss problems and share our secrets, and, of course, where we can taste delicious and homemade food.

Sport is very important in our life. It is popular among young and old people.

Physical training is an important subject at school. Boys and girls play volley-ball and basketball at the lessons. There is the sports ground near our school and schoolchildren go in for sports in the open air.
A lot of different competition are held at schools, a great number of pupils take part in them. All participants try to get good results and become winners. Sport helps people to keep in good health. If you go in for sports you have good health and don’t catch cold.
Children and grown-ups must take care of their health and do morning exercises regularly.

Art lovers admire paintings of Repin, Surikov, Aivazovsky, Levitan, Vasnetsov, Shishkin, Roerich and many other outstanding Russian painters. World literature was largely influenced by Russian writers and poets. Perhaps the most famous names are Pushkin, Lermontov, Dostoevsky, Turgenev, Gogol, Tolstoy, Marshak, Mayakovsky. Works of these writers have been translated into many languages. One of my favourite figures is a prominent Russian composer Mikhail Glinka. He lived and created his overtures in the 19th century. Glinka is often regarded as the father of Russian classical music. His famous pieces included many piano concerts and chamber music. There are, of course, other Russian composers who deserve respect. That includes Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Modest Mussorgsky, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov and others.

For example, the mausoleum complex of Hodja Ahmed Yassaui, who was a prominent Turkic poet, the royal burial place in the Berel area, the Issyk burial mound, etc. One of the most interesting phenomena of Kazakhstan is the Balkhash Lake, which is situated at a height of 340 meters. Half of the lake is fresh and half is salty. It is surrounded by hills and desert pastures. Borovoe Lake Resort with its pine forests and fancy natural sculptures is another tourist attraction. The republic is situated on the Crimea peninsula. It is between the Black Sea in the west and south, and the Sea of Azov — in the east. In the east the Crimea is separated from Russia by the Kerch Strait.

The Harry Potter is a main writing of J. K. Rowling. The book is separated to 7 parts. Actually, I read a number 2 named Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. J. K. Rowling’s second book is just as funny, frightening and unexpected as her first, Harry Potter & the Sorcerer’s Stone.
She is known as a writer of world famous Harry Potter series. Needless to say, she received several awards such as Hans Christian Andersen Award or The Edinburg Award. The magazine Forbes estimated on February 2004 her property approximately about 576 million pounds, nevertheless she is the first millionaire, who gained all money by writing books. At the moment, she is the richest woman on British Isles.
J. K. Rowling was born in July 1965 in England and grew up in Chepstow. She earned a French and Classics degree. Joanne visited Paris for one year and after the return, she started work as a researcher at Amnesty International among other jobs. She got an idea about Harry Potter book during the train journey from Manchester to London. At the final stop, she had created all the figures and the basic plot of a first part called Harry Potter & the Sorcerer’s Stone. Then, she moved to the Portugal where she got married. In 1993 she gave a birth to her daughter Jessica Rowling. When the marriage ended, she returned back to the Edinburg. The first Harry Potter was published in June 1997. Further six parts of book were published in the next 10 years. To tell the truth, the second title Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets was number 1 in the adult hardback bestseller charts for a month after publication. All parts are translated to 44 world languages. Rowling has written two supplement books, too.
No doubt, she is the greatest writer of adventure books because of her talent. I admire her verbal skills and style of writing.

The book is at the same time amazing and exciting. Rowling uses rather folk sentences and phrases, which are understandable.
Book explains life of young wizard Harry throughout his childhood. Harry is in his second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Little does he know that this year will be just as eventful as the last. with his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.
Her books in particularly have a deep impact on my mind, therefore, that is why she is my favorite author.
